Planning and Development

Planning Services are provided by the Office of Community and Strategic Planning from the County of Oxford. A Planner is assigned to the Township and is responsible for providing professional planning advice and recommendations on all types of planning applications, including:

·        Official Plan Amendments
·        Zone Change Amendments
·        Consents (Severance)
·        Draft Plans of Subdivision
·        Site Plan Control
·        Minor Variances

The Township’s Planner is Alana Fulford and she holds weekly office hours at the Municipal office on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  On Wednesdays, Alana can be reached at 519-463-5347. She can also be reached at the County of Oxford at 519-539-9800 or at afulford@oxfordcounty.ca.

Citizens' Guides to Land-Use Planning

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) has developed a series of Citizens' Guides to Land-Use Planning.
