Upcoming Council Meeting – October 1, 2025

The Township of Blandford-Blenheim will hold its next Regular Meeting of Council on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Township Administration Office. Residents can also watch the meeting live on the Township’s YouTube channel.

This meeting’s agenda includes a number of key items of interest to the community, such as:

  • Planning Applications: Council will consider an Official Plan Amendment and Zone Change request (OP25-08-1 & ZN1-25-05 – Bowcott lands) related to a proposed on-farm diversified use.

  • Growth and Land Needs: Oxford County Planning and Watson & Associates will present updates to the County’s growth forecasts and land needs analysis.

  • 2026 Budget Engagement: Staff will share the results of the Township’s 2026 Budget survey.

  • Infrastructure & Facilities: Reports include monthly updates from the Public Works and Building departments, as well as the proposed replacement of the arena water softener in Plattsville.

  • Policy Updates: Council will consider adopting a Frivolous, Vexatious or Unreasonable Complaints Policy and revising the Flag Protocol Policy to allow for the installation of a third flagpole at the Township Administration Office.
