The price for a record check of any kind is $41.00. However, police checks required for volunteer positions are free so long as the applicant has a letter from the organization.

Please Note: Any CAS kinship or adoption applicants are to attend the Ingersoll or Tillsonburg detachments as the Township office is unable to process these applications.

By-law Enforcement

The Township of Blandford-Blenheim’s Clerk Services now oversees By-law Enforcement, ensuring our municipal by-laws are administered and enforced fairly and consistently within the community.

Our By-law Enforcement team works with residents, businesses, and visitors to promote public safety, property standards, and quality of life by responding to concerns and complaints about potential by-law violations. Officers provide information about Township by-laws and encourage voluntary compliance wherever possible. When necessary, they investigate reported issues, follow up on complaints, and take appropriate enforcement action in accordance with municipal policies and provincial legislation.

By-law enforcement responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Addressing complaints about property standards, noise, parking, and other local by-law matters
• Educating property owners and occupants about their responsibilities under Township by-laws
• Working with members of the public to resolve issues and achieve compliance

For more information about by-laws, please visit the By-law Enforcement section or contact Clerk Services.
