Voters’ List and Registration
Ensuring you are on the Voters’ List is the first step toward voting in a municipal election. The Voters’ List includes the names, addresses, and school support of eligible electors.
Prior to the election, eligible voters can confirm, update, or add their information through Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration Service at: https://www.registertovoteon.ca/
Closer to the election period, you can also check or update your information directly with the Township Clerk’s Office.
School Support Designation
When you register to vote, your school support designation determines which school board trustee you can vote for in a municipal election.
Property owners and tenants can confirm or update their school support through the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC): www.mpac.ca/schoolsupport
If your school support information is incorrect, please contact MPAC well before the election to ensure your voter record is accurate.
