Join the Accessibility Advisory Committee

Residents of Oxford County are invited to apply to serve as a citizen member on the Oxford County Accessibility Advisory Committee for the remainder of the 2023–2026 Council term.

The committee plays an important role in helping make communities more accessible by providing input on the County’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, monitoring federal and provincial accessibility regulations, and advocating for people living with disabilities across the region.

Committee members collaborate with County staff and Council to provide advice and recommendations on accessibility issues that impact residents and visitors. Meetings are held every two months, with options to attend in person or virtually.

Interested residents are asked to submit a resume and cover letter outlining their lived experience and interest in improving accessibility in Oxford County by Thursday, April 2, 2026.
