Construction Notice: Oxford Road 8 Resurfacing Project
Oxford County has advised that road resurfacing work will take place on Oxford Road 8 from Washington Street West to approximately 100 metres west of Trussler Road.
Construction Schedule
- Start Date: June 17, 2026
- Expected Completion: August 31, 2026
- Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Traffic Impacts
Motorists can expect alternating traffic through the construction zone as work progresses. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane as required, with traffic control personnel and a pilot vehicle directing vehicles safely through the work area.
The contractor will restore two-way traffic during non-working hours. Construction activities may include periods of inactivity between work stages.
Drivers are encouraged to plan for additional travel time, obey all posted signage, and exercise caution when travelling through the area.
