Cooling Stations Available Today

The Township of Blandford-Blenheim has established cooling stations today for residents who need a place to cool down.

Cooling Station Locations:

Princeton Fire Hall
707024 Township Road 2, Princeton

Plattsville Fire Hall
112 Albert Street East, Plattsville

Electrical outlets are available at both cooling stations for residents who need to charge their phones or other essential devices. Power and phone charging are also available at the Township Administration Office, 47 Wilmot Street South, Drumbo.

Please note that internet service is not available at any of these locations, but power is available.

The Township Administration Office remains open; however, phone service and the debit machine are currently unavailable. Residents who need to reach the Township today can email kbrandt@blandfordblenheim.ca.

Residents are encouraged to stay cool, stay hydrated and check in on family, friends and neighbours who may need additional support during the heat.
