Large Item Collection – Blandford-Blenheim

Oxford County’s annual Large Item Collection will take place in Blandford-Blenheim from May 25 to 29, 2026.

Residents can set out large household items for collection during this week.

Accepted Items

Large household items only, including:

• Furniture
• Mattresses and box springs
• Carpet rolls (maximum 3 ft, bundled)
• Pool filters (no sand) and covers (bundled)
• Water softeners (must be empty)

Items Not Accepted

• Glass or mirrors
• Automotive parts
• Bagged garbage or small items
• Loose items in boxes or trailers

Important Reminders

• Set items out by 7:00 a.m. on your regular collection day
• No bag tags are required
• Items must weigh less than 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Remove any uncollected items from the curb

Residents are encouraged to consider donating, selling, or reusing items where possible before disposal.
