Notice of Completion: Bridge 24 Municipal Class Environmental Assessment
The Township of Blandford-Blenheim has completed the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for Bridge 24, located on Township Road 12 at the Nith River.
The study was undertaken to assess the need to rehabilitate or replace the existing bridge. Following the evaluation of alternatives and consideration of public and technical agency input, the preferred solution is to replace Bridge 24 with a new three-span bridge.
The project was completed through the Schedule B process of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment. A Project File Report has been prepared outlining the study process, recommendations, potential environmental impacts and proposed mitigation measures.
Public Review and Comment Period
The Project File Report is now available for public review. Residents and interested parties are invited to review the report and submit written comments to the Township by December 23, 2026.
