Notice of Intent to Request a Noise By-law Exemption – Froese Excavating Ltd.

The Township of Blandford-Blenheim has received a request from Froese Excavating Ltd. for an exemption from Noise By-law 2357-2023 to permit construction activities associated with the Bloomfield Estates project.

The requested exemption would allow construction activities involving heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, dump trucks, compactors, generators, pumps, and other equipment necessary for excavation, grading, utility installation, and related construction activities during the following hours:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Saturdays (as required): 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Holidays (as required): 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Any person or organization may provide comments on the requested exemption by submitting them to the Municipal Clerk no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Comments should outline any objections to the exemption request and the reasons supporting those objections.

Council will consider the exemption request at its Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township Administration Office, 47 Wilmot Street South, Drumbo, Ontario.
