Princeton Construction Project Entering Final Phase

The Princeton construction project is entering its final phase, with remaining work scheduled to take place from late August through September.

The contractor will begin moving equipment into the area and setting up construction signage starting August 24, 2026.

Construction Schedule:

Week of August 31
Traffic control measures, saw cutting, curb and sidewalk work, and installation of the pedestrian crossing at Main Street and Elgin Street.

Week of September 8
Manhole and catch basin adjustments and paving of Main Street.

Week of September 14
Manhole and catch basin adjustments and paving of side streets.

Week of September 21
Topsoil and sod installation, cleanup, final inspection and completion of the project.

Roads will remain open to local traffic and businesses during construction. Motorists should expect delays and temporary lane closures and are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly.

Please give construction crews the time and space they need to complete the remaining work safely.

The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.
