Purple Bench Unveiling- Drumbo Park

The Township of Blandford-Blenheim is proud to unveil a Purple Bench in the Drumbo Park near the splash pad!

The Purple Bench project aims to raise awareness for Intimate Partner Violence and bring an end to spousal abuse. The Bench features a QR Code that residents and visitors can scan to be connected to local services such as Domestic Abuse Services Oxford (DASO). Pictured, left to right, are Diane Harris, Executive Director of DASO, Councillors Barnes, Young, Demarest and Banbury, and Mayor Peterson.
