Storm Cleanup Update

Public Works crews continue cleanup efforts following last week’s severe storm.

All Township roads have been reopened since Sunday afternoon.

Tree and brush cleanup began Tuesday and is expected to continue for the next two to three weeks due to the significant number of trees affected.

We sincerely appreciate the patience, cooperation and community spirit shown by residents throughout the storm and cleanup. Thank you as well to the many residents and neighbours who stepped up to help one another.

The Township’s Compost & Brush Depot on Township Road 8 is open 24/7 for brush and compostable yard waste. Please do not dispose of logs, building materials or other non-compostable materials at the depot.

If you have concerns about a tree along your property that may be within the Township road allowance, please contact the Township Office. Staff can arrange to have the tree assessed.
