Annual spring watermain flushing is underway across Oxford County, with crews scheduled to be in Princeton from April 27 to 30.

Watermain flushing is a routine maintenance activity that helps ensure the continued delivery of safe, high-quality drinking water by removing sediment from the distribution system.

During flushing, residents may experience temporary reductions in water pressure or discoloured water. If discolouration occurs, residents are advised to run a cold water tap until the water runs clear. It is also recommended to avoid doing laundry during flushing periods to prevent potential staining.
